I was born in France but have now lived for more than forty years in Charleston, SC. I love the beauty of the architecture, the landscape and the colors that are so specific to Charleston. I go back regularly to my former hometown of Aix-en-Provence and have been painting landscapes from both sides of the Atlantic for many years. Painting for friends and family has encouraged me to share my work with a larger audience. After a career in Education, I decided to go back to school in order to learn more about colors, shape, perspective and style. I enjoy exploring the beautiful wildlife areas around Charleston and taking pictures I can then use for my paintings. Being part of the Charleston Artist Guild has given me the opportunity to meet local artists and benefit from different styles and interpretations.
